Ultra Distortion humbucker set (Neck & Bridge), with powerful neodymium magnets, wound and assembled by hand, BLACK / CHROME POLES version.

There are dedicated to those who were not completely satisfied by humbuckers having mushroom poles equipped with ceramic magnets and are looking for an alternative pickup, even more performing.

Even if they have their musical genres of choice from hard rock to heavy metal, given their four-wire wiring and therefore the possibility to play in split mode are still very versatile, with both the distorted and clean sounds.

Like any other neodymium pickup of good quality, they allows you to feel from your guitar nuances and details that models equipped with traditional magnets often do not highlight.

Waxing performed in a paraffin bath mixed with genuine beeswax, which gives the right amount of elasticity necessary for maintaining immunity against squeal triggering over time.

The internal structure of the ASAR SHB-UD humbuckers is characterized, in addition to the manually guided winding of the coils (following an own pattern) also and above all, for the characterization of the pickup performance, by the fact that each single pole piece is equipped with two of its own opposing magnets (sandwich mode), neodymium. Usually, in fact, also for reasons of ease and speed of construction, inside a typical guitar humbucker a single magnetic bar is inserted (which can be of the usual AlNiCo, ceramic, but also neodymium) whose opposite facets touch, on one side only, all the pole pieces, both of the north and south coil...

Pole spacing: NECK 50; BRIDGE 52 mm.

Copper wire: AWG 44

Total series resistance of the coils (connected in series): NECK HB 17.4 Kohm / BRIDGE HB 20.0 Kohm

In the neck humbucker, the north coil directs the magnetic north pole towards the strings; opposite orientation for the south coil.

In the bridge humbucker, the north coil directs the magnetic south pole towards the strings; opposite orientation for the south coil.

The coils of the same humbucker are obviously RW / RP relative to each other. The north coil of the neck pickup is also RW / RP compared to the north coil of the bridge pickup and the same is true for the respective south coils as well. If these pickups are also used in split mode, It's recommended to leaving the north coils working, in both cases.

Wiring:

RED: north coil positive;

WHITE: north coil negative;

YELLOW: south coil positive;

BLACK: south coil negative.

The bare must always be connected to ground.

The pickups have been successfully tested.

NOTE: THE POLES CANNOT BE ADJUSTED IN HEIGHT. ATTEMPTING TO UNSCREW THEM WILL CAUSE IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE.
